I took Moirai Meringue to see Santa Claus. I heard that a professional photographer was offering photos with Santa as a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, so I scooped up Meringue and hurried into town too see if they would let her picture be taken with Santa.

Santa Claus and the photographer, Mark Rose, were very accommodating, and Meringue was a perfect lady. While we were there at the Hilton with Santa, some hotel guests walked by, and on seeing Meringue, they had lots of questions about what she was.

Awhile back, I blogged about what a pleasant surprise Moirai Jolly, my little black buck, has turned out to be. He had chewed his coat badly when he was younger, and so I waited for it to grow out before taking him to a show. I took him to the show in Nebraska a couple of weeks ago, and one judge gave him Best of Breed over his half sister Meringue!

As you can see from the photo, his coat length is not as long as we would like for a 7th month old rabbit. But he does have such nice breed type! He has a really short little body, and excellent depth. I like his darling little ears, too.
