The Michigan Fiber Fest Workshops are now on line and people can register for classes. The festival workshops are August 13th-17th and the Festival is August 16th & 17th. I will be teaching two classes this year. The first is an all day, hands-on workshop about Angora care. I will have all varieties of Angoras available for the students to handle. This workshop takes place on Thursday, August 14th and should be a lot of fun.

The second workshop will be on blending Angora with other fibers on Friday afternoon, August 15th. We will be exploring characteristics of Angora fiber and other fibers that can be blended with Angora to make a beautiful yarn. I will bring my blending board, hand card, and drum carder so participants can have fun blending and spinning fiber that I will have available.
