Please be sure to mark your calendars to attend the Mid America Angora Club (MAAC) weekend. Bring your lawn chairs, spinning wheels, fiber projects,questions, etc.

You may show your angoras 3 times this weekend. MAAC will host a specialty show on Saturday along with the Midwest Trailblazers open show. On Sunday, Midwest Trailblazers will have another open show. So what do we do on this weekend? In betweenshowing our bunnies, we sit spin, show off our projects,handspun yarns, share stories, techniques, etc. Bring your wheel and/or drop spindles along. I also thought it might be fun if anyone has any fiber they would like to trade or sell to bring it along as well. I know I’m always looking for fiber other than Angora! All of this takes place on Saturday so if you can only be there one day plan on Saturday being the day!! Iam going to try and reserve a spot on the back side of the rabbit building so if the weather is nice we can sit outside with our wheels..otherwise we will find a spot inside!

If you can let me know if you will be there on Saturday, MAAC will furnish lunch! It will help me plan how much food to order!

We will also plan to go to Charley’s on Friday night. Charley’s is an ‘all you can eat’ buffet in Lincoln, MO. It is about a 30 minute drive from Sedalia and the food is GREAT!!! There are more homemade desserts on the dessert bar than one can imagine. We can carpool!

Our group has been small over the last couple of yearsso let’s make this one the BEST YET!!!
