Mid America Angora Club specialty show April 11

Anna Lang won Best in Specialty Show with her English Angora senior white doe, in the specialty judged by Ray Hall, April 11, 2015, in Sedalia MO. Best of Opposite Sex English Angora was Deb Butorac’s senior colored buck. Georgia Schafer and Lil Peck had the Best Opposite Sex of Variety in white English Angoras with a junior buck, and Lil’s junior colored doe was Best Opposite Sex of Variety. Alicia Wills’ senior white doe was Best of Breed of the French Angoras.

The MAAC members had a lunch of pizza together at the show, and brought their wheels and hand spindles for a community session of spinning.

In the following all-breed shows, Lil Peck’s senior white doe was Best of Breed, and the BOS went to her senior colored buck, in English Angoras, while Alicia Wills again got Best of Breed in French Angoras.

The next MAAC shows will be two specialty shows on June 12, Friday evening, in Wichita KS. The Sunflower RBA and KSRBA all breed shows will be the following day.
